From fighter aircraft and Navy ships to soldier systems, the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) is one of Australia’s largest program manag ement, logistics, procurement and engineering services organisations. We are a civilian organisation responsible for acquiring and sustaining the equipment used by the Australian Defence Force (ADF) – the ADF’s operational success depends on us.

If DMO were a private company it would be one of the largest on the Australian Stock Exchange. It has an annual budget of over $10.7 billion, and will manage over $120 billion worth of acquisition and sustainment business over the next ten years.

The DMO Graduate and Undergraduate schemes provide you with the opportunity to use the skills you acquired at university, while building on your experiences, to contribute to nationally significant projects supporting the ADF.
The 18-month Graduate scheme consists of three work rotations, at different locations around Australia, incorporating learning and development and assistance to achieve industry based professional recognition. Our Undergraduate scheme provides real life work experience and financial support while you complete university.
DMO’s generous remuneration package (graduates from $64,230 pa - undergraduates from $32,188 pa - includes superannuation), conditions of service and leave benefits will contribute to you enjoying a happy work-life balance.
