Management Accountant in Accounting Jobs

For over 50 years this exciting organisation has been engaged in the exploration and development of mineral resources. Now with significant plans for further development, they are looking to employ an experienced and skilled Management Accountant.

 

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a reliable, motivated and resourceful accountant to join a versatile accounting team in a West Perth location. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your primary responsibilities will be the provision of financial and management accounting support and advice to management on the company’s investments in key projects and joint ventures. Main tasks will include consolidation of group management accounts, timely analysis and reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and assisting with governance and statutory reporting requirements. In addition, you will support the team and assist in business improvement projects.

 

You will be an adaptive, focused team player, with an eye for continuous process improvement, and be CPA/CA qualified. Possessing between five and eight years of commercial management accounting experience, strong computer and excel skills, you will have a sound understanding of accounting principles. Excellent teamwork, good relationship building and clear, concise communication skills are prerequisites for your success.
