My client is a big name in the resources industry with impressive projects and multiple sites across the Pilbara. Due to increased activity they are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their progressive team on a fly in fly out basis.
You will have the benefit of working on an 8/6 roster and enjoy a varied role offering scope for progression within a team orientated, forward thinking environment.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will take responsibility for:
This is a challenging role which will require the successful candidate to work to key deadlines and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
As a result you will require a minimum of 2 years in the mining industry in addition to strong management accounting and analytical skills.

- Budgeting and forecasting
- Management of capital and operating expenditure requests
- Cost reporting for site departments
- Implementation of controls and procedures designed to improve efficiency
- Identification and analysis of costs in relation to KPIs/ cost drivers
